Mahendranagar, January 11
Ward chair of Bhimdatta Municipality-6, Mahendra Khadka, has been found dead.
Khadka, who is also the spokesperson of the municipality, died in a motorbike accident in Athipur, said SP Kamal Thapa.
“Further investigations are ongoing to see if this was a murder,” said Thapa.
The mayor of Bhimdatta Municipality Padam Bogati has been informed about the incident.
Ward Chair Khadka is reported to have attended a public hearing held at the Municipality on Wednesday afternoon.
