Biratnagar, June 29
A man has been found dead in a drainage ditch at Sarochiya, Biratnagar metropolitan city-6 of the Morang district in eastern Nepal.
The deceased has been identified as Santosh Mandal, a resident of ward 5 of the city. His body was found in the roadside ditch at around 11:25 pm on Tuesday, informs DSP Deepak Shrestha of the Morang District Police Office.
As a fallen cycle was also found near his body, police suspect he fell into the ditch while cycling in the nighttime.
The body has been taken to the Koshi Hospital for postmortem and further investigation is underway.
