Kathmandu, February 26
There were 11 people on board the Kasthamandap Airlines’ plane that crashed at Chilkhaya VDC, Kalikot district, while it was on its way to Jumla from Nepalgunj, on Friday afternoon. The plane crashed while making an emergency landing after it experienced technical glitches.
The plane had Dinesh Neupane and Santosh Rana as pilot and co-pilot.
Meghraj Giri, Jagdamba Khatri, Ganesh Bhattachan, Shonali Bhattachan, Laxmi Sunar, Govinda Prasad Bhandari, Laxman Khadka and Dhananjaya Khatri were passengers on board.
SSP Dhiru Basnyat, chief of the Bheri zonal police, informed that Jagdamba’s child was also onn board.
