Kathmandu, July 20
The Election Commission on Thursday published the calendar for local level elections in Province 2 scheduled for September 18.
The Commission says the following activities will be held as follows:
- Registration of nominations: September 6, 10 am-5 pm
- Complaints against candidates: September 7, 10 am-1 pm
- Investigation into nominations: September 7-8
- Publication of list of candidates: September 8, 11:30 am-1 pm
- Withdrawal of nominations: September 8, 1 pm-5 pm
- Publication of final list of candidates: September 9, 10 am-11 am
- Distribution of election symbols: September 9, 11 am- 5 pm
- Voting: September 18, 7 am-5 pm
Total 127 local units in eight districts will go to polls in Province 2.
