The Election Commission says candidates aspiring to contest provincial and federal parliamentary elections under the first-past-the-post category in 32 districts of mountainous and highly hilly regions are filing their nominations enthusiastically and peacefully.
The Election Commission has set the time from 10 am to 5 pm to file the papers.
The FPTP candidates for 37 federal House of Representatives seats and 74 provincial assembly seats are registering their names at respective district election offices today.
In the first phase, the polls will be held in Solukhumbu, Sankhuwasabha, Bhojpur, Okhaldhunga, Taplejung, Panchthar, Khotang, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading, Sindhupalchok, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Mustang, Myagdi, Baglung, Manang, Lamjung, Gorkha, Rukum East, Rolpa, Rukum West, Jajarkot, Humla, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikkot, Dolpa, Darchula, Badhang, Bajura and Baitadi districts on November 26.
Other 45 districts will hold the polls on December 7.
