Kathmandu, November 8
A clash broke out in Pathibhara, a famous pilgrimage site in the eastern region, over the proposed construction of a cable car.
The altercation occurred on Friday between those in favour of the cable car project and those opposing it. According to DIG Chandrakuwera Khapung, the Chief of Province 1 Police, authorities are attempting to control the situation by deploying police after tensions escalated between the two sides.
Locals report that the area remains tense, and further details are awaited.
