The Constituency Delineation Commission on Thursday issued a notice calling for suggestions from stakeholders, members of the public on delineation of constituencies for upcoming provincial and federal elections.
The notice says the panel began its function on Wednesday and asked political parties, experts and public to provide it with suggestions within next seven days.
The Commission is mandated to prepare its report within 21 days from commencement of the operation.
The interested ones can visit the Commission’s office in Singhadarbar with suggestions. Likewise, the panel can be contacted through telephone (01 4211057), fax (01 4211057) or email ([email protected]).
The government had formed the five-member Commission last week to decide boundaries of 165 federal and 330 provincial electoral constituencies.
