Kathmandu, May 14
The Election Commission has directed officials deployed to conduct elections in provinces 3, 4 and 6 to begin vote counting this evening itself.
The votes would be counted at the headquarters of concerned local body after transporting the ballot boxes from voting stations.
The Commission also issued an 11-point directive to the officials on how to count the votes.
According to the directive, the counting for ward chairpersons, women members, Dalit women members and open category members would be published before counting the votes of mayors and deputy mayors.
