CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal says the constitution amendment bill will be passed by Parliament when it is put to vote next week.
The ruling coalition leader says the ruling side has the support of two-third lawmakers required to endorse the amendment.
The former Prime Minister claims the main opposition CPN-UML has also made a commitment to help the amendment get endorsed whereas the Rastriya Prajatantra Party is also positive.
Meanwhile, Dahal also says that the country will hold elections to the Provincial Assembly and the federal House of Representatives on a single day as major political parties have already made an agreement about it.
The Maoist leader is currently in Janakpur to assess situation of flood victims in the region.
