Two persons died in different road accidents in the Dang district of Lumbini on Tuesday evening.
Ajaya Chaudhary (18), a resident of Ghorahi-15 of the district, died after being hit by a motorbike while he was riding on an autorickshaw at Karjahi, Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-17, on the Ghorahi-Dharapani road on Tuesday.
Seriously injured in the accident, he breathed his last while being treated, informs the District Police Office.
In another incident, a car and a motorcycle collided, killing a 10-year-old girl, near the Mahadeva Bridge, Gadhawa rural municipality-2 of the district.
The victim has been identified as Sandhya Chaudhary, the daughter of Simasar Chaudhary, a resident of Anandapur, Rapti rural municipality-7. Riding pillion on the motorbike, Chaudhary had sustained injuries in the accident and succumbed to them during treatment at the Lamahi Hospital in Dang.
