The dismissal of Sudurpashchim Provincial Minister for Social Development Dirgha Sodari has been covered on the front pages of most of the newspapers. Likewise, the appointment of first Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police has also been significantly covered.
Most of the newspapers have published photographs about people offering prayers to the Sun God on the occasion of Chhath festival on their front pages.

Officials accused of receiving double benefits from state

Nagarik and Republica report on their front pages that many former bureaucrats, who later got appointments at various constitutional bodies, have been found getting both pension for their previous roles and salary for current roles as well.
One of such officials is Deep Basnyat, who stopped claiming pension for his previous job as secretary during his tenure as CIAA chief, but claimed it again after completing the term, according to the reports.
Other persons on the list are former Vice-President Paramananda Jha and NHRC Chairman Anup Raj Sharma.
Federal govt to address tax overlapping issues
