Kathmandu, August 18
Six days after the per-tola gold price fell under Rs 100,000 following a historic upsurge a week before, the gold price has again gone up above Rs 100,000 on Tuesday again.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association says a tola of fine gold is priced at Rs 100,400 for Tuesday whereas a tola of tejabi gold costs Rs 99,900. The federation has attributed the increase to changes in the international market.
Likewise, a tola of silver costs Rs 1,380.
On Monday, a tola of fine gold was priced at Rs 98,200, tejabi gold at Rs 97,700, and silver at Rs 1,315.
