Kathmandu, April 23
Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has been offered a guard of honor at Tribhuvan Airport after he arrived in Nepal.
After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport at 3:35 pm in his private plane, he was received by the President of Nepal, Ramchandra Paudel. After that, he was given a special honour (guard of honour) by the Nepali army team.
Emir Al Thani, who left for a visit to Asian countries on Sunday, arrived in Nepal from Bangladesh on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, he is scheduled to meet with President Paudel at Sheetal Niwas. After that, the President is going to host a dinner for him at The Soaltee Hotel.
On the second day, he will return to Qatar in the afternoon after holding a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
