Kathmandu, February 19
District Administration Office Parsa has issued a curfew order in some places of Birgunj Metropolitan City from 5 pm on February 19.
An indefinite curfew order has been issued in the area bordering Bara, extending from East Nagwa Chowk to Tilawe Bridge in the West, from Parwanipur in the North to Miteri Bridge Customs in the South.
A demonstration was held in Birgunj on Monday regarding the dispute in Motipur of Ishanath Municipality of Rautahat.
According to a statement released by Chief District Officer, Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, the curfew order had to be issued due to the situation of dispute and conflict during the demonstration in Birgunj.
