Kapilbastu, December 6
A vehicle of Nepali Congress candidate for provincial assembly elections in Kaplibastu-1 ‘A’, Puran Tharu, has been targeted in a blast in Kapilbastu district today.
The vehicle used in his electioneering was completely destroyed in the attack.
The blast did not cause any other loss, police say.
Tharu is considered a popular politician in local Tharu community.
Meanwhile, police say they have launched a manhunt to nab suspects of the incident.
