Kathmandu, October 18

Three road sections within Kathmandu metropolitan city have been converted into one-way streets.

According to Jagatman Shrestha, a traffic expert at Kathmandu Metropolis, the road leading from Kamaladi Mode to Ghantaghar via Nepal Academy, as well as the road from Mahendra Shalik at Darbarmarg to Kathmandu Plaza are now designated as one-way.

Traffic flow is now one-way from Pulatisadak to Ghantaghar, allowing only westbound travel. Additionally, access from Kathmandu Plaza to Darbarmarg is restricted.

Similarly, a new one-way road has been established from Tripureshwar to Gusingal through Setopul, connecting Kathmandu to Lalitpur.

A team of 10 from both the traffic police and the metropolis have been stationed in the area to inform the public about the newly implemented one-way road system.
