Kathmandu, November 29
One person died when his motorbike hit a roadside pole in Tokha on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Sabin Kandel (26), a resident of Panchakanya rural municipality-4 of the neighbouring Nuwakot district. Seriously injured in the accident, he died during treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital last night, according to police.
Pillion rider Sandesh Karki (22), a resident of the same place, is injured and is undergoing treatment at Grande Hospital, Tokha.
The motorbike (Ba 74 Pa 5759) had hit the electricity pole after the rider lost control over it at Greenland, Tokha municipality-6, at around 11:15 last night.
