Kathmandu, November 10
Prof Dr Krishna Prasad Oli has been appointed as Nepal’s Ambassador to China.
President Ram Chandra Poudel appointed Oli as ambassador in accordance with Article 282 (1) of the Constitution. Similarly, Lok Darshan Regmi has been appointed as Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States.
On July 30, the Council of Ministers recommended ambassadors for 17 countries. Following parliamentary approval and agreement from the respective countries, President Poudel officially appointed Oli and Regmi as ambassadors.
