Kathmandu, November 11
A scooter rider died after being hit by a truck at Gwarko Chok of the Lalitpur district in the wee hours of Thursday.
The victim has been identified as Swapnil Lama (21), a resident of the Kavrepalanchok district, who was riding on the two-wheeler (Ba 67 Pa 4683).
Lama was hit by the truck (Na 6 Kha 1993) at around 5:45 am today. Seriously injured in the accident, he was rushed to the nearby B & B Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
The Metropolitan Police Cricle in Satdobato has arrested the truck driver for further investigation.
Further investigation is underway.
