Chitwan, June 2
Traffic on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section has been affected by landslides.
Landslides triggered by heavy rainfall on Saturday night have blocked the road in two locations on the section in Jalbire and Paanchkilo. That has resulted in slow traffic as only one-way road is open in the section.
The District Police Office has said that efforts are underway to clear the debris and resume the two-way traffic as soon as possible.
Despite expansion of the road recently, landslides continue to create havoc during the monsoon every year.
