Kathmandu, December 30
Popular Nepali rapper, Ashish Rana aka Laure, has been arrested in Pokhara of Kaski on the charge of a drug offence.
SP Ramesh Thapa of the Kaski District Police Office says he and four of his friends were arrested on Wednesday.
“We arrested them while doing drugs,” Thapa says, “Further investigation will continue after receiving a remand from the court.”
Because Thursday is a public holiday on the occasion of Tamu Lhosar Thursday, he will be presented at the District Court on Friday seeking the remand, according to Thapa.
