Two people died and five got injured when lightning bolts struck them at Hetaunda municipality-27 on Saturday evening.
Makwanpur district police office identified the dead as Tara Rumba (46) and Kumar Bal (25).
The injured are undergoing treatment at local health posts, police informed. Police said bodies of the deceased have been brought to Hetaunda Hospital for tests.
