Kathmandu, September 9
Mukesh Raj Kafle, managing director of Nepal Electricity Authority, has put in papers. He submitted his resignation letter to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Friday.
Kafle’s resignation came a day after the Council of Ministers discussed his performance and described it as ‘poor’.

Then Sushil Koirala government had appointed Kafle as NEA’s chief executive director. Kafle is also a Nepali Congress general convention representative.
