Kathmandu, January 29
Veteran leftist leader and general secretary of the CPN-Masal, Mohan Bikram Singh, has fallen ill. He is receiving treatment at Grande Hospital in Kathmandu. On Sunday morning, Prime Minister Prachanda met Singh at the hospital and inquired about his condition.
During the meeting, PM told Singh the government will provide necessary help for his treatment, PM’s Secretariat informed. Singh, 81, is suffering from sugar and lung-related complications. He has been receiving treatment at Grande for four days.
It is learnt that Singh’s health condition has improved after treatment.
