
Kathmandu, March 20
Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihail Popșoi, paid a courtesy call on Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his visit to the country.
The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, focused on bilateral relations and mutual interests. Discussions covered cooperation in areas such as climate change, education, culture, and trade expansion.
Prime Minister Oli invited Moldova to participate in the Sagarmatha Sambaad, scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from May 15 to 17, emphasising Nepal’s commitment to addressing climate issues from the Himalayas to the seas.
Also present at the meeting were Prime Minister Oli’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Ministry Joint Secretary Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, and other officials.
