Biratnagar, January 27
In a mysterious case, police in the Morang district in eastern Nepal have uncovered two corpses buried underground in a sugarcane field at Kamalpur, Dhanpalthan rural municipality-7, one after another.
Whereas police found one body in a pit on Wednesday, they found another in another pit nearby on Thursday. Police suspect that they were murdered and buried at the same time.
There is a 20-metre distance between two pits.
The bodies are yet to be identified. One of them belongs to a man who was in his mid-30s.
SP Janardan BC, the chief of the District Police Office, says police have mobilised sniffer dogs for further investigation into the case.
