Rautahat, July 2
A mother and her daughter were been found dead at Pataura of Maulapur municipality-4 in Rautahat district on Saturday.
According to District Police Office, Rautahat, a 24-year-old woman named Kabita Devi was found dead beneath the stairs, while her two-year-old daughter, Aruhi, was found hanging from a ceiling fan.
DSP Uma Shankar Prasad Yadav said Kabita’s husband Dhirendra Shah and father-in-law Nagendra Shah were on the run following the incident.
Police have arrested Kabita’s mother-in-law and her sister-in-law for further investigation.
Kabita parents’s have accused her husband’s family for killed her under the pretext of dowry.
