The deadline for work on the Narayangadh-Mugling road section has been extended again as the road section will continue to shut down for four hours every day for 21 more days.
The road will be shut down from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Krishna Acharya, the project’s information officer, stated that stakeholders in a meeting at the district administration office in Chitwan decided to proceed with the wall-cutting work by closing the road for four hours daily, starting from February 4 and lasting for an additional period beyond the initial 21 days.
The road is being shut for four hours to dismantle a wall to establish the foundation of the Tuin River bridge.
The project initially closed the road for three weeks, starting from December 23, 2023, to January 13. In the second phase, it was decided to close the road for four hours daily from January 13 to February 3. Information Officer Acharya confirmed that the remaining 13 meters of the wall were successfully removed within the specified 21-day period.
