Nawalparasi East, June 7
A man has died after being hit by a truck at Hamalchok, Devchuli municipality-2 of the Nawalparasi East (Nawalpur) district in western Nepal on Monday morning.
The victim, a man appearing to be in his mid-50s, is yet to be identified, informs the Gaindakot Area Police Office.
The truck (Na 1 Ka 3953) had hit him while he was walking this morning. Seriously injured in the accident, he was taken to the Dumkauli Primary Health Centre, but he died there.
Police have arrested the truck driver for further investigation.
