Kathmandu, December 2
Four persons died in a road accident in Dhaubadi of the Nawalpur district in Gandaki on Thursday night.
An SUV (Gandaki province 04-001-Ja 0006) heading towards Dedgaun from Daldale fell off around 300 metres down the road at Hupsekot rural municipality-5 of the district after it hit a roadside wall owing to brake failure.
The victims have been identified as Hem Bahadur Ranabhat (60) of Bulingtar-6, Mansabha Baral (67) of Bulingtar-5, Keshari Damai (28) and Yam Bahadur Thada (58) of Baudikali-2, according to SP Bhuwaneshwar Tiwari of the District Police Office.
Other eight persons have sustained injuries. They are undergoing treatment in the neighbouring Chitwan district.
