Chitwan, March 29
Nepali Congress Vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi has ruled out the possibility of making Nepal a Hindu state once again.
Responding to questions raised by media-persons about recent statements made by his party’s general secretary, Nidhi said he did not know about this issue. “Thinking of a Hindu state is only daydreaming at this point of time,” he said at a press conference in Chitwan.
When asked about the ongoing investment summit, he said that everyone in the country had to work together to make it a success.
“We hope Nepal attracts foreign investors for its prosperity. But the government has failed to do its homework for it,” he said.
