Kathmandu, June 19

The ruling Nepal Community Party has begun an online event in partnership with the Communist Party of China on Friday. Some leaders of the party have expressed dissatisfaction saying the party’s foreign affairs department was not informed.

The ruling parties of Nepal and China are beginning a discussion with an objective of sharing experiences of running the parties and the countries today.

However, some leaders have expressed dissatisfaction saying the school department, not the foreign affairs department, has been chosen as the organiser. The party chief KP Sharma Oli’s rival in the party, Madhav Kumar Nepal, heads the foreign affairs department.

The school department’s deputy chief Bedu Ram Bhusal has also informed Nepal that he was not involved in organising the event.

The party’s chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and school department chief Ishwar Pokharel are scheduled to address the event. Around 100 other leaders of the party are also joining it.
