Kathmandu, May 19
The Nepal Army says 18.84 tonnes of medical supplies it imported on behalf of the government for the country’s Covid-19 response have arrived in Kathmandu.
A Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft carrying the supplies including PCR test kits, personal protective equipment sets, N95 masks, and gloves landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu this morning, according to the national military organisation.
The aeroplane had left Kathmandu for Guangzhou on Monday.
Earlier last week, the army had imported nine tonnes of supplies via a land route.
