Kathmandu, December 6
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and European Union’s Ambassador to Nepal, Rensje Teerink, had a meeting on Tuesday.
The two discussed implementation of Nepal’s Constitution and the peace process, among others, at the meeting in Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar.
Prime Minister Prachanda thanked the European Union for its role in Nepal’s peace process, PM’s Secretariat informed, adding that PM also lauded the EU for its assistance in post-quake reconstruction work.
At the meeting, Ambassador Teerink described Nepal’s peace process as unique in the world and said the international community can learn positive lessons from it. The EU is confident that the process of Constitution implementation will move ahead successfully, Teerink said.
