
Kathmandu, May 20
The main opposition party in the Federal Parliament on Monday announced the formation of a ‘shadow cabinet’, which according to the party will check activities of the incumbent KP Sharma Oli government.
Nepali Congress says the ‘coordination committee’ was formed as per article 9.5 (A) of the party statute.
The party has divided the portfolios of party leaders, parallel to the cabinet portfolios, as given below:
Gyanendra Bahadur Karki: Energy
Narayan Khadka: Foreign Affairs
Minendra Rijal: Finance
Dilendra Prasad Badu: Home Affairs
Umakant Chaudhary: Urban Development
Kishor Singh Rathore: Sports
Min Bishwakarma: Industries
Gagan Thapa: Education
Sujata Pariyar: Drinking Water
Parvati Chaudhary: Health
Devendra Kandel: Tourism
Dila Sangroula: Labour
Bahadur Singh Lama: Communication
