Netflix’s top 10 most-watched films: ‘The Electric State’ leads the chart

Netflix’s latest top 10 most-watched movies showcase a variety of genres, ranging from sci-fi and action thrillers to animated adventures and survival dramas. Leading the list for the second consecutive week is The Electric State, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

Starring Chris Pratt, the sci-fi adventure follows a teenage orphan who sets out with a mysterious robot and two smugglers to find her missing brother. The film has been viewed 22.5 million times this week and remains the number one trending movie in 25 countries.

Following closely in second place is The Twister: Caught in the Storm, a gripping documentary about the devastating tornado that struck Joplin, Missouri, in 2011. With real-life footage and emotional survivor accounts, the film captures the immense destruction caused by the natural disaster.

In third place is Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, an action-packed sequel about elite criminals and law enforcement clashing over a high-stakes heist in Europe. Meanwhile, Marvel’s Kraven the Hunter takes the fourth spot, diving into the origin story of Sergei Kravinoff, a ruthless predator determined to prove his dominance.

Horror fans have propelled A Quiet Place: Day One to fifth place. This prequel explores the terrifying first moments of an alien invasion, where silence becomes the key to survival.

The animated film The Plankton: The Movie ranks sixth, offering a family-friendly underwater adventure. Another animated favorite, Despicable Me 4, secures the seventh spot, continuing Gru and his Minions’ misadventures.

At eighth place is Morbius, a superhero thriller starring Jared Leto as a scientist who transforms into a vampire-like creature after an experimental cure. The ninth-ranked Infinite Storm is a survival drama based on a true story, where a woman braves extreme conditions to rescue a stranded climber.

Rounding out the list at tenth place is Trap, a psychological thriller about a man who unwittingly finds himself in a deadly situation at a live concert.

Meanwhile, in the TV series category, Adolescence has remained Netflix’s top trending show for two consecutive weeks, captivating audiences with its coming-of-age storyline.

With a mix of action, adventure, horror, and animation, this week’s Netflix rankings highlight the diverse preferences of global audiences.
