Nepali Police arrested 83 people for offering offline rides on Pathao and InDrive.
According to the District Police Range Kathmandu, 83 individuals were apprehended on Sunday for unlawfully transporting people from different locations in Kathmandu.
SP Kumodh Dhungel of the police stated that vehicles engaged in such activities have been associated with certain criminal incidents in the past. Additionally, offline ride-sharing poses a security risk he said asking the people not to indulge in offline rides.
