Talking to mediapersons at the Nepali embassy in New Delhi, Oli said he had not come with a ‘shopping list’, and the main objective of his visit was to clear misunderstanding between the two governments.

“I am satisfied. My India visit is successful,” he said.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa had also told mediapersons that all outstanding issues between India and Nepal have been cleared. “Our ties are now back to normal,” Thapa said.

Oli, who landed in New Delhi on Friday afternoon, was received by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. He met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, Vice-president Hamid Ansari and President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday itself.

Oli is now scheduled to visit Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Mumbai before returning to Kathmandu.
