Kathmandu, April 15
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sheharyar Khan has said that his country would like to host Afghanistan, Nepal and World XI team to play cricket matches in Pakistan.
According to local reports, Khan, who was speaking at the board’s meeting on Thursday said that the PCB has also prepared budget for the proposed matches and is currently waiting for government’s formal approval.
Big teams have not toured Pakistan since March 4 2009, when a bus carrying Sri Lankan cricketers was fired upon by 12 gunmen, near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan.
