Palpa, May 6
One person died after a fire broke out in a house in Palpa.
According to District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Man Bahadur Som, 79, from Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality – 4. Police say that Som lived alone at his house.
Locals informed that a fire broke out at 1 am on Friday morning.
The fire has gutted the house completely, say police.
The cause of the fire is unknown. An investigation is underway.
