Parliamentary committee calls meeting to discuss Prime Minister’s China visit

Kathmandu, November 14

A parliamentary committee has called a meeting to discuss Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s upcoming visit to China. The International Relations and Tourism Committee under the House of Representatives has scheduled the meeting to deliberate on the details of the visit.

The meeting is set for Sunday at 11 am in the committee’s conference hall at Singha Durbar.

According to the committee secretariat, efforts are underway to ensure the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the meeting. Foreign Minister Arzu Rana has also been invited to participate.

Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to leave for a five-day official visit to China on December 2. The visit is expected to include the signing of a BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) implementation plan, among other agreements.
