Kathmandu, February 27
The Tanahun District Police Office has arrested actor Paul Shah, who has been accused of raping a minor, on Sunday.
DSP Yuba Raj Khadka says Shah is currently under police control now.
Earlier last week, the alleged survivor’s father filed a complaint at the Tanahun District Police Office.
Meanwhile, the District Court in Tanahun allowed the police to keep the actor in custody for seven days for further investigation.

Rape-accused Paul Shah says he’ll go to the police today

Actor Paul Shah, who has been accused of raping a minor, says he will go to the police on Sunday.
Amid reports that the police have been unable to arrest him although several days have been passed since receiving a complaint against him, Shah wrote on his official Facebook page on Sunday morning that he had been unable to go to the police due to his health problems and some domestic issues.
Likewise, Shah said he did not get himself arrested to save his movie, Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu 2, from earning a bad name. The movie is currently being shown in the Kathmandu valley.
