Federal Socialist Forum Nepal’s president Upendra Yadav has demanded that the political mechanism to review provincial boundaries be given constitutional status.
Yadav, who was talking to mediapersons in Biratnagar, said that although the formation of a political mechanism would be a welcome move, it would be difficult for it to function smoothly if its ToR is not specified in the constitution.
Yadav said, “How will Prime Minister KP Oli face the Indian leaders if he leaves without keeping his house in order? Therefore, the issue (of political mechanism) should be resolved before Oli goes to India.”
