President Paudel undergoes prostate surgery

Kathmandu, December 4

President Ram Chandra Paudel has successfully undergone prostate surgery at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

According to a doctor involved in his treatment, preparations are underway to shift the president to a cabin.

The surgery was performed by a medical team led by Professor Dr Bholaraj Joshi. Doctors have stated that the president’s condition is normal and there is no cause for concern.

President Paudel had been on medication for a prostate condition for the past 16 years. Doctors decided to proceed with the surgery now as the appropriate time had been determined.

“It was a minor issue with the prostate, which has now been addressed. The surgery was carried out as planned,” said one of the doctors.
