Kathmandu, July 8
Radha, directed by Tulsi Pariyar, will be staged on Tuesday, July 9, at Mandala Theatre, Kathmandu, at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The play is a production of the second batch of Mandala Drama School.
Written by Sumitra Bogati, the play depicts the story of Radha, who is eleven days into her pregnancy and living with her mother because her husband, Keshav, abandoned her a month ago.
“Radha is about a marital relationship that can be seen around us,” said Pariyar. “Radha is one of the characters from our society who has multiple roles and responsibilities as a daughter, mother, and wife.”
The play features a cast of 11 actors.
