Tanahun, January 10
Two people died in a road accident in Sunakot of Bhimad municipality-5 in Tanahun on Thursday.
The accident happened when an SUV (Ga 1 Ja 6356) fell some 150 metres off the road.
DSP Mohan Bahadur Khand said 12 people were on board the SUV which was going to Rampur in Palpa from Pokhara.
The deceased have been identified as Rum Bahadur BK and Jemlal Darai, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Critically injured in the accident and rushed to the nearest health facility, the two were pronounced dead by the doctors at the GP Koirala National Centre for Respiratory Diseases.
Likewise, ten people sustained injuries in the incident, police said.
