Kathmandu, May 31
Three Rotary clubs in Kathmandu extended their support to a Covid-19 isolation centre operated at the Sharada Secondary School, Tilaganga, Kathmandu, recently.
The centre is initiated by the Kathmandu metropolitan city ward 9 committee, Matrika Eye Care Centre and local youth clubs. It is operating with 30 beds now but targets to have 90 beds.
The Rotary Club of Baneshwor, the Rotary Club of Pashupati and the Rotary Club of Thamel provided 29 beds and Rs 430,000 to the isolation centre management team. Likewise, they also provided one special folding bed, one wheelchair and 10 PPEs also.
Meanwhie, the Rotary Club Of Baneshwor also supported to Bir Hospital with 90 PPEs and 100 N-95 masks today.
