Kathmandu, April 20

As the date for the local elections is approaching closer, one party after another are making their election manifestoes targeting the polls.

On Wednesday, Rastra Prajatantra Party, aspiring to become a national party, has also launched its manifesto.

Organising a press conference in Kathmandu, the party chairman Rajendra Lingden made the manifesto public.

In the election manifesto, the party, among other things, has promised allowance to farmers whenever their cattle produce calves.

As a Hindu nationalist party, the RPP has also proposed plans for the protection of the traditional education system and other social institutions such as community cowsheds.
