Kathmandu, June 12
The newly established Sajha Party has said it will concentrate on Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City of Sunsari district only in the second phase of local level elections scheduled for June 28.
The party has said it will focus on Itahari only during the polls owing to lack of strong organisation in other places.
Meanwhile, the party also announced its candidates for the city.
The party has decided to field public health assistant professor Dr Tara Kafle and journalist Prakash Chandra Pariyar for the positions of mayors and deputy mayor respectively.
In the first phase of polls, the party had fielded candidates of mayor and deputy mayor in Kathmandu and Lalitpur metropolitan cities.
