Samsung Galaxy A04 has been officially released in Nepal. This is yet another launch from the company in the A series. This budget phone from the company is also the lighter version of the already-launched Samsung Galaxy A04s.
Samsung Galaxy A04 is a budget smartphone from the company, which offers a simple design. There are some minor changes in it compared to the Galaxy A04s. The battery backup on it is basic. However, it offers a high-resolution primary camera for taking pictures and videos, and this can be the biggest turn-on.

Design and display
In terms of design, it does not have anything new to offer. Samsung Galaxy A04 has a simple design with a glass front, a plastic back, and a plastic frame. Its simple back design holds two camera sensors and an LED flash. It also lacks a fingerprint sensor but has a face unlock feature.
Samsung Galaxy A04 weighs 192 grams and measures 9.10mm in thickness. It is available in black, green and copper colour options.
On the front is a 6.50-inch IPS LCD display offering an HD resolution of 720*1,600 pixels with 270 PPI density. It supports a 60Hz refresh rate and should achieve a decent amount of brightness.
Cameras
Samsung Galaxy A04 has a high-resolution 50MP primary camera on the back, just like Galaxy A04s. The primary camera has an autofocus feature and is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front is a 5MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2.
The cameras on it are only able to record videos in 720p resolution.
Performance and storage
Samsung Galaxy A04 runs on One UI Core 4.1, based on Android 12. It is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 (12 nm) chipset. This is an entry-level chipset, which provides good performance for this price range.
It is available in two variants. The 3GB RAM variant is coupled with 32GB of internal storage while the 4GB variant comes with 64GB of internal storage. The storage on it can be expanded by up to 1TB with an external memory card. It also provides a dedicated slot for the card.
Battery life, connectivity and others
Samsung Galaxy A04 comes with a 5,000mAh non-removable li-po battery backup. There is no fast charging system on it, so charging the battery fully might take some time.
It supports dual sims with up to 4G network connectivity. Other connectivity options include Wifi 802.11, GPS and Wifi Direct. Since there is no fast charging system on it, one can already tell that it uses a micro USB 2.0 cable for charging and wired pairing. Similarly, it uses Bluetooth 5.0 for file transfer and wireless pairing with other devices. There is a loudspeaker as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack on it for audio.
